| The radome was developed to withstand the following environmental conditions:Pressure (Test pressure -80 Bar; Tightness test pressure – 68 Bar; Working pressure – 50 Bar.)Shock 90g, half – sine wave, 2 ms in each axis as per MIL-STD-810F, Method 516.5, Procedure 1, 18 shocks in total.Wave slap: Up to 5 tons/m2.Temperature range: -25°C to +60°C.The radome will be retracted inside the sail during submerged cruising.When the radome is extended the support mast will carry the passage load through the water.The development has been successfully completed and several production units were manufactured. |
