The pipe shuttle was developed by MMS to transport various sized sections of steel tubing (1,7 – 2.1m) for refurbishment into existing pipelines.
The steel tubes were used to reinforce existing pre-stressed concrete pipelines.
The system are completely autonomous and allows for the transport and positioning of the tubes up to a kilometer inside the existing line as well as providing some temporary services at the junction point
