| MMS was responsible for the design, analysis and manufacture of both the outer and inner structure of a stabilised camera platform manufactured out of composite materials. Due to the complexity, mass restrictions and stiffness constraints of this structure, an all carbon fibre structure was chosen. In order to save mass, epoxy foam cores were also utilised. MMS is currently in producing several versions of the Gimbal structures. |
